This weekend I will be driving the Lawrence Motorsports #11 at Attica Raceway Park for the $3,000 to win Sunoco American Late Model race. I got fitted in the car last night and I am really excited to go dirt late model racing.

Well, after almost 2months off I got to race last weekend. I went to South Buxton in Canada and drove the Curtis Coulters number 5 mod. We had transmission problems in the heat and had to start 16th in the feature. The best I could get was 4th. I have thank Curtis for having me drive.

Last week we were able to pick up a win at Attica Raceway Park. Saturday we finished 8th at Oakshade Raceway.

We went to Attica Raceway Park Friday night. I started on the front row of the heat and was able to win it. I started 9th in the feature. I was able to get to 4th where I finished. The track was really fast and you could race anywhere.
Saturday night we headed to Oakshade Raceway. I started the tail of the heat and finished 3rd. I started on the front row of the feature and was running 2nd half way through when the motor broke. The car has been pretty good. If we can just get the motors to stay together.
We are back to Attica Friday night, over to Oakshade Saturday night and end the weekend at Millstream Speedway on Sunday.

All the rain has forced Limaland to cancel. We are now heading to Attica Raceway Park tonight. Tomorrow we will be at Oakshade Raceway.

We took the late model to Attica Friday night. I was able to win the heat from the front row. I started 4th in the feature. I was up to 2nd but fell back to 4th where I finished. It was a good night and we learned some more information on the car.
Saturday I went to Eldora with the stock car. The car started missing in hot laps so I pulled it in. We ended up having a blown motor.
This weekend we are taking the late model to Limaland Motorsports Park Friday night for the ALMS season opener and heading to Oakshade Raceway for there opener.

We broke the motor in hot laps. Hopefully we are ready to go Friday night for the first ALMS race of the year.

We started 5th in the heat race and was able to get a 2nd place finish. For the feature we had to start 12th. The racing was pretty crazy with some 2wide and 3wide racing the entire feature. I was able to get to 6th where I finished.
We plan on going back to Attica Friday night and we are heading to Eldora Speedway Saturday night.

With the cancellation of Attica, we decided to throw the stock car together and head to Eldora. We did not get there until after seven so we missed the draw and was forced to start the tail of the third heat. Eldora received some rain late in the afternoon causing a pretty soft race track. There were some slimey spots still on the track that caused some wheel banging. We finished 2nd in the heat and would start 6th in the feature.
I was able to get the lead after a few laps and go on to win the race. Fog had moved in and made visibility kinda tough, I was glad to get the race over.
We are heading to Attica Raceway Park tonight to race the late model.

We plan on attending Attica Raceway Park Friday night with the late model. If Attica cancels Friday night we will be back Saturday night for the make-up. If we get Friday night in or Attica cancels Saturday night I will be driving the 7B stock car at Eldora.
Shane and Jennifer made some changes to the late model this week to hopefully get us a little faster. After week one in the books, hopefully some of the rust is worn off of me.
With the way the weather looks, hopefully we all get some racing in this weekend.

We finished 2nd in the heat race to Jon Henry. Started 10th in feature and finished 8th. Track was in great shape. I think I was a little rusty tonight. Competition keeps getting tougher. Were going to change a few things and be ready to get back after it next Friday night.

2011 Race Season Is Almost Here -- Posted by Jeff on Saturday, February 26 2011
It has been a long winter, but it's almost over (I hope)!!! The cars are real close to being ready for racing. Within the next week Banshee Graphics should have the cars wrapped and ready to go.
In addition to running for Halcomb Racing this year in the late model I plan on making some stock car shows with my dad in the familiar 7B. I hope I can remember how to drive one!!! As of right now I don't have any modified plans for sure.
Enjoy the rest of old man winter and hope to see you at the track soon. I am heading to Kalahari water park today to get ready for summer!!!!
